Whatever I feel like posting and Yesterday at the Thrift Store

I hate to pay for anything, so I'm always looking for a bargain . . . along the way I've found a lot more than I was bargaining for

Navigating the Week

Unless it is a special occasion (and I love special occasions) you can expect as a rule, a regular daily topic as follows (albeit with occasional specializations)

Mondays -
Everything But the Kitchen Sink
(All things food/food preparation related)

Tacky Tuesdays -
(That which is often referred to as bric-a-brak)

Wednesday-
In Stitches
(Anything fabric or sewn, the softer side of thrift stores)

I Never Could Get the Hang of Thursdays -
(Things that make you uncomfortable, but weren't intended to)

Flashback Fridays -
(A nostalgic and often embarrassing look back on days gone by)

Saturday Success -
(It can't be all bad, there are some amazing deals out there, the one day a week where monetary value was found at the thrift store)

Sunday-
(My day off, look forward to Monday)

Have you had a great find?

As long as it isn't profane or actually pornographic, and is awful;

send it to me at TodayattheThriftStore@yahoo.com

Hopefully I'll be able to include it in a future post.

Please leave your first name and last initial with it if you would like recognition.

Trying to find that one thing?

How it all Began

All my life I've been searching for bargains at discount stores, thrift stores, and the clearance section of every store I go into.

Since I like doing this more than my wife I often go alone, but I always bring my camera to show her what I found "Today at the Thrift Store" or wherever people try to sell what normal people won't pay full retail for.
